For their compact size the scales have a very high 5kg weighing capacity, necessary for larger batches or when taring (zeroing) heavy containers.The scales weigh to a 1g accuracy from 0g to 5000g and include a ‘tare’ function so that you can automatically subtract the weight of the container, or the weight of the material already on the scale from the measurement, a feature which is invaluable when accurately measure resin and then hardener into the same container.The scales have selectable metric (grams) or imperial (lb/oz) mode.The scales are powered by 2x AA batteries (not included) which ensures a very long operating life (hundreds of hours) and makes them extremely portable.
